A method to create equivalent applications of Hybridcast and HbbTV

(in English) There are several Integrated Broadcast-Broadband (IBB) systems in the world. Among them, HbbTV 2.0.1 that was developed in Europe and Hybridcast that is widely used in Japan have certain similarity in the application structure such as use of HTML5. However, their applications are incompatible due to the difference of additional APIs. We analyzed both specifications in detail and developed a method to create equivalent applications for both systems. In this paper, the method developed and result of the verification test using a Hybridcast TV and a HbbTV receiver in the UK are discussed.
