Evaluation of Current-driven Magnetic Domain Motion along [Co/Tb] Nanowire by Magneto Optical Microscopy

(in English) We have proposed a new magnetic recording memory utilizing parallel aligned nanowires without mechanical moving parts, in order to achieve ultra-high data transfer rate for the requirements of 8K ultra-high definition videos and future three dimensional videos. In order to realize this device, precise bit-shift, i.e. precise control of unit length for the current-driven magnetic domain motion is required. We evaluated the domain wall behavior by magneto-optical microscopy in detail. In this study, we demonstrate that the shape of current-driven domain walls can be maintained by controlling the waveform of the applied current pulses.
