Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this study, considering a vestiblio-ocular reflex model, we evaluate bass sound is perceived louder when treble noise is injected into the human cochlea. A cochlea consists of hair-cell arrays which perceives sound and some integration cells which integrate side-by-side hair-cells pulses. Based on the similarity to vestibulo-ocular reflex, the electronic circuit model demonstrated that a single treble noise increases the frequency of integrated pulses; we confirmed that the treble noise has possibility of compression effect of bass sound.
