[Invited Talk] Holographic data storage using computer generated holograms

(in English) A holographic data storage system based on a computer-generated hologram is simple and compact because a hologram of a data page is recorded through an imaging system without an additional optical path for a reference beam. In this paper, two achievements of our research group are introduced. One is the method to improve the recording density of the holographic data storage, a shift multiplexing method using a spherical wave. The designed computer generated hologram can reconstruct a datapage and spherical wave simultaneously. Another is the method to reconstruct the phase-datapage by the transport of intensity equation. Because this enables us to utilize phase information, the improvement of the recording density can be realized.
