Cable television operators offer a wide range of programs provided by terrestrial, satellite and pay channels to meet users’ various demands. In terms of 4K/8K broadcasting, we have started “Cable 4K” broadcasting for our subscribers, and 4K/8K satellite broadcasting is going to start in December 2018 which we will retransmit through our cable television network. This article shares technical challenges we have addressed for 4K/8K broadcasting on cable television. |
