Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Our previous research shows that extremely small field of view of virtual camera enhances psychological responses with VR devices (Virtual telescope screen method). In this study, we carried out an experiment to the relationship between psychological enhancement of the virtual telescope screen method and hypnotic susceptibility. Translated version of Stanford hypnotic susceptibility scale was used to evaluate hypnotic susceptibility in 13 scales. Change of pain tolerance in cold pressor test was used as an indicator of psychological enhancement. Calculated value of the correlation coefficient was 0.344 and shows weak correlation.
