[Poster Presentation] Arc 3D Display Improvement as Directional Backlight for Large Layered Multi-View Display

(in English) For enlargement of the layered multi-view display, our improvement method using a single light source can obtain the same directional backlight characteristics as the parallel light in the Arc 3D display. In order to enlarge the arc 3D display, it is necessary to realize the directional backlight characteristic of the Arc 3D display like the parallel light even by using the point light source. Slanting in vertical line of the bright spots can be improved by changing the radius of the Arc 3D display. The shift of the bright spots in the lateral direction can be improved by shifting the position of the Arc 3D display. Thus, it is possible to display the bright spots of the Arc 3D display like the parallel light even by using the point light source and to enlarge the proposed system.
