In recent years, due to the development of the Internet, the online shopping market continues to expand, and opportunities to purchase clothes through the Internet are increasing. However, when purchasing products at clothing sale sites, there may be differences in the texture between the visual image of the item over the monitor and the visual and tactile images of the actual delivered item. Therefore, in this study, we prepared videos made by stretching the fabric at a constant speed and visually evaluate those videos as “stretchy” of the fabric an experiment was conducted. In parallel with that, experiments were also conducted to visually and tactilely evaluate the real cloth by stretching, and from the comparison of those evaluations, the speed at which the fabric's “stretchy” is easy to be transmitted were clarified. In addition, when we investigated the relationship between visual evaluation of “stretchy” looking at the video and the stretching rate which is the visual physical parameter of the fabric, a high correlation was found between the two. |
