Development of Robot Character Design Support System with Armed Consideration

(in English) Interview with Kawahori and Tsukuda [1], it turns out that armament affects robot design. In this research, we developed a system to support information exchange to facilitate the exchange of robot design information including armed between producer and designer. Collecting robots and their arms from existing works, sorting each part and classifying its shape. We modeled the classified armament from the classification result and developed a 3D modeling system that creates a design draft of the robot by combining it with parts of the robot.
