Detection of Knee Features in 3-D Point Cloud Data Measured by Depth Camera

(in English) There are many points that should be improved in total knee arthroplasty, because the patient is often dissatisfied with the postoperative course and needs a large amount of medical expenses. Therefore, a “three-dimensional joint instability analysis system” has been proposed that generates basic data for navigation in total knee arthroplasty. In this system, a motion analysis is performed in which the motion of the knee joint detected from the image and the load and moment measured by the 6-axis force sensor are correlated. In this study, three-dimensional displacement measurement of the knee joint was taken, and as a first step, a method of three-dimensionally detecting knee feature points was examined.
