Examination of Image Measurement Method for Scallop Aquaculture

(in English) In scallop aquaculture, periodical surveys of aquaculture status and sampling surveys at the time of shipment size confirmation because the shell length and shell height e are measured manually using a vernier caliper. In this study, we developed a system to measure the length and height of the scallops as module of “Touch De Measure” developed by Enomoto et al. Experiment to compare the measurement with the measurement in this system, and the error rate shows that the measurement accuracy of this system is sufficient, that 10 scallops in an image of 507 pixels $¥times$ 400 pixels can be measured in about 24 seconds.
