Micro QR code reading experiment for trial production of reflection type optical modulator

(in English) We have been researching on a live video transport system that sends moving images from an underwater vehicle to a ship on the sea by way of a repeater. It features function that tracks the repeater with a unique image processing technology. In this report, we discuss a new technology that can detect and track the repeater faster and more accurately than before.
Furthermore, it can send back an instruction for shooting by making use of the incident optical signal on to the repeater. In order to verify the feasibility, we made a preliminary experiment in taking an image of a micro QR code printed on an OHP sheet piled on a retro-reflective sheet.
