[Poster Presentation] Characteristics of luminescence and particle shape in M10(PO4)6(OH)2:Mn5+ (M=Ca,Sr,Ba) near-infrared nanophosphors

(in English) Recently, we succeeded in synthesizing a near-infrared Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2:Mn5+ (HAp:Mn5+) nanophosphors by liquid phase reaction method. In this study, we give attention to M10(PO4)6(OH)2 (M=Ca,Sr,Ba) host materials having similar apatite crystal structure. The annealing effects on Mn5+ luminescence and nano-particle shape have been investigated. The annealed Sr10(PO4)6(OH)2:Mn5+ nanophosphor sample shows a higher photoluminescence compared to the our former best HAp:Mn5+ nanophosphor samples. It has also found that the particle shape is changed from rod shape to polygonal shape.
