A study of time adjustment of the radio controlled clock

(in English) The standard time and frequency transmission JJY is a radio wave to supply the standard frequency and JST throughout Japan. The radio controlled clock may not be able to correction the time when the receiving C/N is degraded by the condition of the propagation. Therefore it is important to reveal radio wave propagation of the standard frequency wave to develop a high performance radio clock. In this paper, we describe the results of long term measurement of the field strength of the JJY and the calculation results of the amplitude probability distribution. We also mention the direction of arrival of the JJY waves by using an orthogonal tri-axial loop antenna.
