Radio Wave Propagation Characteristics of 2.3GHz band Mobile Field Pick-up Unit

(in English) In the link budget and frequency sharing studies for FPU, an operation model that assumes communication outside the line of sight has been considered, and a radio wave propagation model based on free space propagation loss with the obstacle transmission loss margin and the required fading margin for has been used. However, few reports have been made on basic evaluations related to radio propagation loss in actual wireless environments. In this paper, we report the measured results of the reception characteristics of the suburban area and the urban area on the ground and high places as the radio propagation characteristics of the 2.3GHz band FPU.
