This Study investigated the effect of presenting own body on VR sickness. In the experiment, we presented VR movie through HMD. The VR movie was 3 types: CG only, CG with the participant’s hands superimposed in the same arrangement as in real, and CG with the hands superimposed on the position and direction upside down for making it hard to feel their hands as part of own body. As a result, regardless of the position and direction, the VR movie with the hand superimposed had a lower sickness score than the movie without the hand superimposed. This result suggested that whether the steady visual object presented in VR movie is easy to feel as a part of own body does not affect VR sickness. |
