[Poster Presentation] Simulation of Fish Dish Operation with Force Feedback

(in English) We have developed a simulator, with which we can experience diagonal cutting of salmon meuniere in a virtual space using haptic devices. The diagonal cutting is realized by finite element method with a hexahedral primary element model. When the salmon is cut and the elements are separated, it is necessary to recalculate the matrix that handles the deformation of the object. Then, the process that moves vertices near the cut surface is performed in order not to recalculate the matrix. In addition, another process that supplements the cut surface by applying marching cubes is performed, and the diagonal cutting is realized.
