A Study on Bicycle Behavior-based Edge Computing System for Supporting Road Management

(in English) In this paper, we propose a bicycle behavior-based edge computing system for supporting road management. The proposed system detects avoidance behavior on bicycle trips by using videos obtained from in-vehicle cameras and CCTV. Also, the proposed system enables to accumulate data on avoidance behavior to road administrators. The accumulated data are expected to be used as a reference for measures against abnormal road conditions. By utilizing the proposed system, data accumulation for realizing more efficient and effective road management while reducing data size becomes possible. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed system.
