Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Arc 3D display can successfully solve serious difficulty in perceived depth penetration into or behind the real object in stereoscopic/3D image only by motion sensation by Phantom phenomenon in addition to head motion and/or 3D image motion. By using Arc 3D display, perceived depth penetration can be solved by head motion and/or 3D image motion. Head motion or 3D image motion in Arc 3D display for solving perceived depth penetration into real object has problem of forcing observer to move head or of complicated motion system. Only motion sensation by Phantom phenomenon can successfully solve this perceived depth penetration into real object by using a simple system.
