[Special Talk] Store Channel Customer Segmentation using transaction data

(in English) We attempted to identify market segments based on real and online stores in a specific area by latent class analysis. As a result, the possibility of latent classes based on customer shopping behaviour patterns was clarified. We also found that even customers who use the same store belonged to different segments due to differences in their store shopping behaviour. Besides, we found that in multi-channel retailers that operate both real and online stores, their customers are not necessarily multi-channel shopper. The above analysis results suggested that retailers can identify market segments based on store visiting behaviour and expect to increase their marketing effectiveness by planning and executing customized marketing for each market segment.
