Enlargement of three-dimensional images of light field Mirage using eye-tracking technique

(in English) We have previously proposed the light field mirage which can provide 360-degree three-dimensional images. The system replaced the two parabolic mirrors of the original mirage with multiple light field displays. The light field displays have the issue of the generation of plural flipped images. In our previous study, to solve this issue, the hole of the original mirage is used to eliminate rays generating the flipped images. In this study, we propose a tracking system which provides rays generating the three-dimensional images corresponding to viewing positions. The proposed system can produce larger three-dimensional images than previous system. The proposed technique is verified by preliminary experiments.
