Proposal of a tool to support the online class's interactivity

With the expansion of COVID-19, online class is increasing in universities. However, many of the students who dislike showing each other’s faces in their home environment, often turn off their cameras and attend class. Therefore, it becomes difficult for teachers to grasp the students’ reactions, and the class tends to lose its interactive nature. To solve these problems, we propose a novel tool design specifically for online classes. Displaying different information to students and teachers allows students to reduce the mental obstacle for showing their faces and speaking. In this paper, we also conducted a questionnaire survey using the proposed tool design. |
