Proposal of speech education app for hearing impaired child using image recognition and voice recognition

(in English) In hearing-impaired education, speech education from spoken, is important along with sign language education. With the development of information technology in recent years, the use of ICT in language education for hearing-impaired children is required. It purposes of this study is proposing speech education applications for Hearing-impaired Children with moderate hearing loss (40 to 69 decibels). The proposed app is an educational support system that combines voice recognition and image recognition technology to acquire the target spoken language of the vocabulary that the child wants to practice, triggered by a real object of interest to the child. Through evaluation experiments on the function and identification rate of the app, it was confirmed that the app is useful for speech education.
