Effect of Decreasing Color Moire of False Color using Pseudorandom Pixel Placement

(in English) The Bayer color filters used in color image sensors and displays make the false color, as well as the color moire, that is caused by the spatial location of filters. Authors have been proposing the pseudorandom pixel placement, which employ the inter-pixel displacement of the photo receptors, and demonstrated the effect of increasing the spatial sampling frequency. In this paper, we describe the method of decreasing the color moire using the pseudorandom pixel placement, as well as its preliminary evaluation.
