We have proposed magnetic nanowire memories utilizing two parallel recording wires with no mechanical moving parts, so as to achieve large-capacity and ultra-high data transfer rates required for spatial imaging three-dimensional (3D) television. In a magnetic nanowire, binary information is recorded by magnetic field generated from two recording wires that are orthogonally arranged to the nanowire. We have already found the fact that magnetic wall was successfully formed in a magnetic nanowire with low current density when a current with an appropriate time lag was applied to two recording wires. In this report, we analyzed the behavior of the magnetic moment during magnetization reversals, revealing the mechanism of this phenomenon. |
