Real Haptics is able to transmit the force/tactile sensation from the remote place to the local side. This means communications by force/tactile sensation is possible like other communications with audible or visual sensation. This opens wide applications in both “remote operations” with vivid sensations and “record and playback” of human actions and movement. The design of the robot motion similar to the human-like actions can be designed by this technology. These actions are far from ordinary industrial robots and very much sophisticated. They will substitute real human tasks with artificial actions in industry, medical area, ordinary life and so on. The real haptics is a very unique technology in 21st century. |
