Luminance Distribution of Restored Aerial Image in Aerial-Image Steganography by Use of Dual Transparent Spheres and Aerial Imaging by Retro-Reflection

This paper proposes an aerial imaging steganography technique by use of aerial imaging by retro-reflection (AIRR) combined with two transparent spheres. The configuration of AIRR requires a light source, a beam splitter, and a retro-reflector. Then, two transparent spheres in the same size and shape were arranged plane symmetrically with respect to the beam splitter in order to conceal and decode the aerial image. Previously, we had shown that the ray tracing results were effective in reducing the required area of the retro-reflector and improving the luminance of the aerial image. In this paper, we measured the luminance distribution of the decoded aerial image and compared with the simulation results. |
