Interdigital and Multi-Via Structures for Mushroom-Type Metasurface Reflectors -- Metasurface Reflector Design Based on Simulation --

(in English) The novel patch element shapes with the interdigital and multi-via structures of a mushroom-type metasurface reflector have been proposed, then the reflector is designed.
The sharp far field patterns of the reflected beams were obtained in the simulation results.
The metasurface reflector is designed for confirming the effectiveness of the proposed structures experimentally.
If the transmitting antenna should be set near the reflector in the restrictions such as our anechoic chamber size etc., the phase distribution of the transmitting antenna should be incorporated into the reflector design.
The metasurface reflector for verification experiments is designed combining the simulated incident wave phase and the ray tracing method.
