Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Induction of NEXT-Generation DTTB is considered for 4K broadcasting using same channel as existing 2K broadcasting. The LDM scheme is one of Induction of NEXT-Generation DTTB. Under the case that sequential demodulation is used in LDM scheme, a demodulation characteristic of LL depends on UL. However, the performance of convolutional code-Viterbi decoding used in UL is more deteriorate than the performance of LDPC used in LL under multipath environments. Although Viterbi decoding using CSI can improve performance under multipath environments, deterioration of reception characteristic in LDM System occurs. In this paper, a Viterbi decoding using CSI and LL power is proposed. The proposed method is evaluated by computer simulation. As a result, it is possible to improve the reception characteristic by proposed method.
