Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Research and development of advanced terrestrial broadcasting is now underway. The advanced terrestrial broadcasting we propose aims to realize the integrated content distribution system of broadcast and broadband communication that enables unprecedented services and user experiences by freely combining contents via broadcast and broadband, as well as ultra-high-definition television broadcasting over terrestrial waves. Since the unification of media segment formats using the CMAF (Common Media Application Format) is progressing for video streaming on the Internet, in this paper, we report on a study of the adaptation of CMAF to MMT (MPEG Media Transport)-based broadcasting path.
