Natural Landscape Modeling Support Based on Terrain Feature Texture and Walking Route Map

(in English) With the recent progress in CG representation, the cost of terrain generation using 3D instances has increased, and it is desired to reduce the complexity of the generation procedure. In addition, it is little known how to generate terrain using walking paths. In this study, we propose a method to automatically generate a landscape of natural topography by referring to a texture having terrain features and a map showing walking paths. With this method, various natural terrains along the paths can be expressed with only a few parameters, and thus reducing the modeling cost of the artists.
