Eiji Tomura, Tomonari Kamba (Toyo Univ)
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) When trying to achieve some goal, it is important to make certain behaviors a habit, but making a habit is not always easy. There have been smartphone applications that support habitulization, but it has not always been clear which ones are effective. In this study, we developed an app to support habitualization based on the Fogg Behavior Model and evaluated it. We implemented functions to provide "motivation" and "triggers," which are considered important in addition to the ability for habituation in the model, and conducted experiments.
