Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Advanced ISDB-T system has been developed in order to provide next-generation terrestrial broadcasting services such as 4K8K for fixed reception and 2K for mobile reception within single channel. We have been evaluating the transmission performance of Advanced ISDB-T by simulations, laboratory experiments and practical field trials using experimental stations. In this paper, we evaluated the fixed reception performance of Advanced ISDB-T by laboratory experiment in different FFT size with using actual propagation characteristics captured at actual field. The results show that fixed reception performance is not affected by the FFT size for the multipath interference inside the guard interval, and larger FFT size makes smaller degradation with long-delay multipath.
