Design and Implementation of Fresnel Diffraction Circuit for Incoherent Digital Holography

(in English) We designed and implemented a Fresnel diffraction circuit for incoherent digital holography. We focused on multiwavelength-multiplexed phase-shifting incoherent color digital holography (MP-ICDH) as a method of obtaining 3D reconstructed images. In the reconstruction calculation of this method, we designed on a Fresnel diffraction circuit, which requires repetitive calculations. We verified accuracy of Fresnel diffraction on a software and determined the bit width for implementation by fixed-point arithmetic. We implemented the circuit on a field-programable gate array (FPGA) and calculated approximately 2.6 times faster than that of the CPU, maintaining the image quality.
