A Study on Decoding Method for Introduction Scheme of Next-Generation DTTB using LDM

(in English) Induction scheme of Next-Generation DTTB is considered for next-generation broadcasting using same channel as existing 2K broadcasting. The LDM is one of Induction scheme of NEXT-Generation DTTB. Sequential decoding and direct decoding are decoding method for LDM. The sequential decoding has been studied for decoding method for LDM. However, direct decoding, especially, direct decoding using NUC for LL modulation has yet been studied enough. And, GLDM is proposed to improve characteristic of direct decoding. In this paper, the characteristic of direct decoding for Introduction scheme of next-generation DTTB using GLDM is evaluated by computer simulation. In addition, sequential decoding and direct decoding are compared.
