relationship between the difficulty of binocular fusion and limitation to the observing iris size in stereo-parallax display

(in English) Two functions in human eye, the vergence and the accommodation are linked together in natural environment. Stereoscopic 3D displays provide only the variable vergence while accommodation is fixed, causing the vergence-accommodation conflict, and this leads to adverse effects like binocular fusion difficulties. Our previous study to solve this problem proved narrowing the equivalent observing iris by optical means resolve this conflict. The focus of this paper is the practically compromising size of iris, since the binocular fusion easiness and the brightness of observed image is in tradeoff.
