Discussion and evaluation of converting real-world 360-degree videos into a virtual world

(in English) In existing virtual worlds mirroring real cities, but they do not reproduce walking people, moving cars, and realistic buildings in the streets. Moreover, the creation of virtual worlds requires specialized knowledge of 3D models, such as textures and shaders. A straightforward way to create virtual worlds that reproduce the local atmosphere is to use 360-degree videos. However, the lack of 3D objects in the videos and the presence of the photographer himself can damage the user’s experience. In this paper, we propose a system that automatically converts 360-degree videos into a virtual world while solving the above problems, We also evaluate the interface of the system through a subjective experiment.
