仮想把持に有効な視覚フィードバックに関する検討

仮想物体を掴む際に指の色や物体の色を変える視覚フィードバック手法は，圧力を感じられるため好まれやすいが，タスクパフォーマンスの向上には至っていない．そこで本研究では，指先から色を変化させる手法（CFT）と物体の接触箇所から色を変える手法（COTP）を提案する．実験では，素手での仮想把持時に提案手法を含む複数の視覚フィードバックを提示し，定量評価（把持，リリース性能）と定性評価（掴みやすさ，好みなど）を行った．その結果，CFTは精度を向上させ，COTPは掴みやすい，擬似触覚を生起させる，などの理由からユーザに好まれやすいことが分かった． |

Visual feedbacks when grasping a virtual object that change the color of the fingers or the object are often preferred because users can feel the pressure, but they have not improved task performance. Therefore, this study proposes a method that changes the color from the fingertip (CFT) and a method that changes the color from the object contact point (COTP). Several visual feedbacks including the proposed methods were presented and evaluated quantitatively (grasping and releasing performance) and qualitatively (ease of grasping, preference, etc.). The results showed that CFT improved accuracy, and COTP was preferred by users because it was easier to grasp and generate pseudo-haptics than the other visual feedbacks. |
