イラスト制作において，ラフスケッチを線画にする工程は，機械的で単純な作業のため，自動化されることが望ましい．ラフスケッチから線画を自動生成する研究があるが，線の太さや濃淡といった強弱が失われた太さが均一な線画が出力される．そこで，本論文では，ラフスケッチから強弱を推定して，その強弱を太さが均一な線画に付与することで，強弱のある線画に自動変換する手法を提案する．評価実験の結果，自動で強弱を付与した線画は，一部の線画を除いて，ラフスケッチの強弱が反映され，立体感を感じられるという評価を得た．また，手描きで強弱を付与すると，20～30分程度かかるのに対し，提案手法は1～2秒で強弱のある線画を出力できるため，作業時間の大幅な短縮になる． |
