(in English) JAXA has been developing Flash LIDAR as a sensor for obstacle detection by lunar and planetary landers and for on-orbit rendezvous and docking. This paper describes a 3D image sensor with Geiger-mode avalanche photodiodes and its pixel circuit for Flash LIDAR.
