Analysis of moiré of light field display with near virtual-image mode using diffraction calculation

(in English) We proposed the light field display with the near virtual-image mode using both a lens array and an aperture array, which has a wide viewing zone and bright three-dimensional images. However, moirés appear on the light field display because the shapes of virtual images of the subpixels alter periodically. In this study, we developed a moiré analysis method that calculates the intensity of the virtual subpixel images using the diffraction calculation and analyzed the moiré pattern. The intensity distributions of the virtual subpixel images were calculated, and the virtual subpixels images were transformed periodically by the diffraction.
