Creation of 3D model from ToF camera using light reflection intensity

(in English) We propose an algorithm that uses the reflection intensity of light to remove flying pixels from a 3D point cloud model captured by a ToF camera. We compare the proposed method with conventional methods such as RGB value method and statistical method in terms of flying pixel removal and computation time. In addition, we propose a smoothing algorithm that combines a region segmentation process, which treats the captured data as an image, and a plane approximation process, which treats the data as a 3D point cloud, in order to reduce the problem of undulations in the entire 3D point cloud model that are not part of the object. Experiments will be conducted while varying the number of regions to confirm that the undulation can be reduced.
