Artificial olfactory sensors, which can convert odor into information, are expected to bring about technological innovations to solve various problems in our society by enabling the collection of vast and multifaceted chemical information from hundreds of thousands of volatile molecules in nature. In this presentation, we will introduce our research activities on odor sensing by artificial olfactory sensors and its applications, and on the development of materials and devices that accelerate odor identification, toward the digitization of odor and its information utilization. |
