In this study, with the aim of supporting dance training, we propose a method for visualizing kinematic elements such as the base of support and center of gravity, zero moment point (ZMP), and abstracted trajectory as characteristics of human motion by 3DCG. In addition, to verify whether the proposed method can support motor learning, we introduced the proposed method into a body-part motion synthesis system (BMSS) and conducted an evaluation experiment on students with dance experience. In the experiment, each student created a choreography using BMSS, and we asked them to use our proposed visualization method in the process of learning the choreography. Next, they performed their choreography and answered questionnaires. The results showed that visualizing movement characteristics using the proposed method leads to understanding how to use the body. |
