The authors have been creating AR and VR contents of cultural assets and exhibiting them at facilities and events. However, the elderly and people unfamiliar with electronic devices sometimes did not experience the contents due to fear of complicated operations. To solve this problem, we thought it necessary to create interactive contents that can be touched by more intuitive operations. The system combines low-cost models of cultural properties that can be touched by 3D printers with non-contact sensors to create a system in which the images change by directly touching the models on which projection mapping is projected. This system can realize interactive contents, such as a transparent view of the interior structure of a model when touched, making it easier for people unfamiliar with electronic devices to experience the system. In this study, we will test a prototype system based on the proposed method and discuss changes in the aversion that people feel toward the contents. |
