This study focuses on tutorial methods. This study provides three types of game tutorials: a written tutorial with a strong explanatory element; a video tutorial with a strong illustrative element; and a hands-on tutorial with an experiential element. The goal of this study is to investigate whether differences in user comprehension exist across tutorial types, how users perceive the effectiveness of the tutorial, and which method is best in terms of the quality of the user experience. This study is believed to be applicable not only to games, but also to maintaining motivation in fields such as product explanations to customers and education. |
