NHK is conducting research on the next generation of digital terrestrial broadcasting with UHF band to enable large-volume content services such as Super Hi-Vision. In polarized MIMO transmission, due to the differences of the propagation characteristics between both polarizations, the average bit error ratio characteristics deteriorate, which is confirmed by our previous reports. In this study, we developed a multi-dimensional interleaving scheme that interleaves frequency-division and both-polarizations simultaneously. And this paper provides the verification of transmission characteristics using computer calculation. |
