This paper shows an analysis of acoustic signals of music by natural observation method (NOM). NOM is a method of analysis of temporal waveform in real time and uses the current data and the past data. In this paper, we propose a beat tracking system which is based on NOM. First, transform acoustic signals to fundamental observation values (FOVs). Second, inverse-transform FOVs which contain only percussive component to a wave form. Then we obtained beat position. |
