A Study of Interactive Multi-view Autostereoscopic Aerial Image

(in English) Recently, studies about an aerial image are attracted attention and expected to be future interface that realize floating display. By using easy optical systems, methods of producing an aerial image are becoming popular. On the other hand, there is a problem that it produce only a plane aerial image. When we interact with an aerial image, it must have enough stereoscopic effect. Therefore, in this study, combining a stereoscopic image by using a rotating mirror and an aerial image by using micro mirror array, we propose a system for producing an interactive multi-view autostereoscopic aerial image. Through multi-directional observation and direct touch interaction, we demonstrate the effectiveness of this proposal.
