物体の心的操作における姿勢の効果

物体の心的操作には，視知覚情報に加えて前庭機能からの情報も用いることが報告されている．このため，観察時の姿勢が物体の心的操作に影響する可能性がある．しかし，観察時の姿勢が心的操作に及ぼす影響については十分に検討されていない．よって，本研究では観察時の姿勢が心的操作の遂行能力に及ぼす影響について，2種類のmental body rotation tasks (MBRTs) を2種類の観察時の姿勢（側臥位，座位）で行うことによって検討した．本研究において，観察時の姿勢による課題成績に違いが見られた．本研究の結果から，物体の心的操作に観察時の姿勢が影響することが示された． |

It has been reported that the mental transformation ability rely on not only visual perceptional cues but vestibular cues. Owing to previous studies, there is a fair chance that the mental transformation ability is affected by the participant’s body posture. However, it has not been investigated whether the body posture has an effect on the mental transformation ability. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine that the effect of the participant’s body posture (upright, lying right side down) on mental spatial transformations using the Mental body rotation tasks (MBRTs). The RT and correct rates for MBRTs were changed by the difference of the participant’s body posture. From these results, we suggest that the body posture affects the mental spatial transformation ability. |
